I went to the dr. last week because of some pain in my lower abdomen that started while reading the news last week. He said I likely had a kidney stone. The next night at 1:30 in the morning I woke up in excrutiating pain. I thought I was having a baby!
I crawled around on my bedroom floor for 2 hours looking for some comfort. Being hard headed and thinking I can withstand pain, I finally got smart and drove myself to the ER at Good Sam. Wow, that IV with morphine felt great! I finally left 4 hours later after missing the morning show. Here a few days later, the stone is still there but hasn't moved. I do enjoy the Rolling Stones more now...weird.
