Melekalikimaka! I need your help people! You see, I'm trying to convince our boss (Sandy Breland) to send us to the 50th state to cover the ASU football team. Dirk Koetter will be coaching his last game as the Sun Devils' head coach against the University of Hawaii in the Hawaii Bowl on December 24th. Wouldn't it be great television coverage to see Dirk Koetter doing the hula or to see Zach Miller and the Devils learning how to surf/wipeout. Plus, I could show you where I grew up and how the islanders celebrate X-mas in Hawaii. So please email 3tvnews@azfamily.com and put "Send Buku to Hawaii" in the slug line. I would LOVE to go but alas family comes first!!! We need someone who can cover it all!!!
Just be sure you look for "Uncle Bryon", (one great surf teacher, you can spot him bobbing in the water wearing his little red hat!!!) on the North Shore if he's still around and bring back some Giovanni's marinade!!!

Make him beg real hard. He should get on his knees and plead, but I think that he would be more than willing. Ross is a great sportscaster and so I think that he deserves to go and just think about how appreciative he would be.

I just wanted to say that my husband and I love you. My husband was born and raised in Hawaii and just moved here about 8 years ago, lived in Pearl City on Oahu. He says you just remind him of the islands. Thanks! Your awesome!
