For years now, one of my favorite athletes has been Dale Jr. That would be Dale Earnhardt Jr. for you non-NASCAR fans. I've met him before and have taken pictures of him, but not one with him. That was my only goal at PIR a couple of weeks back.

I hung around outside his motorhome, walked through the garage area, basically stalking, to the point where even my friends were embarrassed for me!

Well, as he was about to get into his No. 8 race car for the Nextel race, I approached him on pit row and asked for the picture. He said "Y ea that's cool" (although it sounds more like coo)

That picture, while not easy to get, sure looks good in my game room!
