Located just east of North, Bar North is a tiny, clean-lined box of a wine bar, all windows and high ceilings and noise. If you can't hack the chatter, there's always the great patio overlooking Kierland's water feature. Here, the furniture is comfy, the people watching primo. Like its sister restaurant, Bar North offers Italian-inspired food, light and modern. Of course, the emphasis here is on grazing. So put together your own antipasto platter from a list of classic selections, or order a salad (the turkey chopped is outstanding), bruschetta, a panini or stromboli (a sandwich wrapped in pizza dough). It's all delicious and designed to share, which is something you absolutely will not want to do with the butterscotch pudding. Yum! As you might imagine, lots of wines (many Italian) are offered by the glass, flight, terzo or bottle. Trendy cocktails too. This is one cool little hangout. Lunch and dinner daily. $-$$
