So much to say...

By Scott Davis

Well well.. so much has been piling up that I don't know where to start. Hmmm... how about starting with a lie.

A lie revealed.

So it turns out the Governor misled everyone. Hmm.. imagine that- a politician concealing the truth?

Actually this is no laughing matter- our Governor was a witness to the 1997 Phoenix Lights. No, not Gov. Napolitano, but then-Gov. J. Fife Symington. The same man who, three months after the "sighting", held a news conference and trotted out one of his aides dressed in a silver jumpsuit with an alien head mask and gloves. At the time he remarked, "This goes to show that you guys [the media] are entirely too serious!"

His news conference made a mockery of the event. An event which was witnessed by hundreds, perhaps thousands of people. And now, Mr. Symington admits he, too, saw the lights. Not only that but he saw the lights move across the valley. He recently told documentary filmmaker James Fox, "I was never satisfied with the explanation that they were high altitude flares. It didn't look like that. They were too-- it was all too symmetrical. It clearly had a shape to it- and a big shape- and it was a constant shape, and there's just no way you can control flares that way. There's just no way they were flares."

The story appeared in today's Prescott Daily Courier. Reporter Leslie Kean tells me it's been in the works for months. She and others worked had to keep it a secret until now. Of course today the former Governor is traveling and unavailable. But he knows I want his interview.. and apparently he's willing to do it on Monday.

Can't wait to hear what he has to say!

I saw the video of the Phoenix Lights, and recognized them as Aerial Flares from a Military Airplane over the Goldwater range. I am ex Air Force Weapons Mechanic and Instructor of Aero Space Munitions. While stationed at Nellis AFB in Nevada during the 60's we flew
several flare missions, and every time the phone lines were jammed with UFO sitings. Especially when we dropped a "Bright Eye" flare which was a multi million candle power flare which was suspended under a parachute. The intervals upon which the Phoenix lights appeared in the sky, is exactly what an "Intervolmeter" does. The "Intervolmeter" is an internal timing device that is set by the Weapons Mechanic during loading of the flares. The Mission will have a set interval for releasing the flares,, ie, 5 Sec, 10 sec, and so forth. These aerial flare are suspended under a parachute and the hot air from the flare is captured in the parachute, allowing the flare to remain aloft like a hot air balloon.

With all due respect, the footage captured by a hand full of witnesses on March 13, 1997 around 10 pm does not do the 'unknowns' justice. They are actually much bigger BALLS of self contained amber light that seemed to be attached to 'something', with NO smoke trails, sparks or illumination. In addition, the anomalous "Phoenix Light" orbs stay in a rock solid formation, unlike flares which drift, drop and cannot keep a formation while hovering or traveling throughout the state for many hours.

If you read my book, "The Phoenix Lights...A Skeptic's Discovery That We Are Not Alone", even though I remained anonymous for 7 years after our historic AZ mass sighting, I had actually captured 35 mm photographs of the same mile wide formation of lights in the same location two months and two years before the Maryland ANG came into town, presumably sending off flares to divert attention away from the true unknowns. Most importantly, my sightings were confirmed by air traffic controllers at Sky Harbor International Airport as unexplained, not showing up on radar and hovering in restricted airspace OVER Phoenix, the mornings after both the Jan. 23rd and March 13, 1997 events. Not to mention a very close sighting of these orbs in a triangle/pyramid array, that I also captured on film in 1995. I know what I saw up close and personal...and they were definitely not flares. The data speaks for itself. Just take a look at it on www.thephoenixlights.net
